Toasty Spiced Coffee

Welcome fall with a warm, delicious spiced coffee. We've given you a couple of batch-sized options below, starting with measurements for a batch in the original Toddy® Cold Brew System.

In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of coarse-ground coffee with the ground cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, and clove. Mix well. Add spiced grounds to your brewer and gently pour 9 cups of water over it. Steep for 12-16 hours.

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • Dash of ground cloves

Directions

To serve, combine the ingredients that follow, and then dust with cinnamon.

  • ounces spiced cold brew coffee concentrate (recipe above)
  • 3 pumps (3/4 ounce) vanilla syrup
  • ounces hot water or steamed milk

To brew a larger batch of spiced cold brew coffee concentrate using the Toddy® Cold Brew System - Commercial Model, brew 5 pounds of coffee with the measurements that follow. Steep 12-16 hours.

  • 3.25 ounces ground cinnamon
  • 1.6 ounces ground ginger
  • ounce ground nutmeg
  • ounce ground allspice
  • .15 ounce ground cloves

Serve as noted above.
